about christine
I’m an east coast native living in Seattle. For the past seventeen years, I’ve been in the .com industry cutting my teeth in early stage start ups and later larger companies like Yahoo!, Microsoft and Starbucks. My work spans online (feature development, online publishing) and internal infrastructure projects (business intelligence, rhythm of the business processes/KPI development/balanced scorecarding, data governance, and data management). Most recently In June 2011 I completed my MA in Applied Behavioral Science most recently started a doctoral program in Organizational Systems at Saybrook University.
While studying I became interested in the neural science behind curiosity and its relationship to the health of human systems, organizations and communities. In particular the power of informal networks, the uses (and misuses) of collaboration in the for-profit world, how communities transform and renew themselves—and what role corporations play.
I was born in West Hartford, CT in 1973. I’ve lived in Seattle since 1999 with my dog (Kati) and two cats (Patti & Polli).
